Beth Kanter and K.D. Paine, both Boston area natives, just launched a book The Networked Nonprofit and were both busy with speaking engagements.
Given, both Beth and K.D.’s schedule they didn’t have much time to plan an event for their new book.
Beth and K.D. worked with BostonTweetUp to organize an event following on of their Boston talks. BostonTweetUp handled all the logistics and all Beth and K.D. had to do was show up.
The result was a successfully planned event that allowed Beth and K.D. to relax and simply connect with both past friends and new fans of their work. The event also reached a several thousand people online and was reviewed in a couple of blogs.
